Demján Eyes Hungarian Malév Purchase – Report

"According to press rumours, US and Turkish companies are interested in buying state airline Malév. On the other hand, the group of investors represented by Sándor Demján has the best chance, Magyar Nemzet learnt from sources familiar with background talks.
Demján has previously expressed an intent in buying Malév; both at the time of the failed privatisation in 2004 and also when the airline was renationalised. He may join forces with Chinese airline Hainan, which was also interested in purchasing Malév in 2004, Magyar Nemzet suggests."
