Turnover at Media Markt on Sunday was up 10% from one year earlier. Demand for LCD TV sets, intelligent telephones, laptop computers, washing machines and coffee machines was above average, said sales manager Balázs Szánthó. Tesco reported that turnover at its outlets on Sunday was 5% higher than one year earlier.
