Holocaust Memorial March In Budapest On Sunday

"This year’s March for Life procession in tribute to victims of the Holocaust will start from the Pest side of the Szabadság bridge at 4 p.m., on Sunday, April 15. The March for Life Foundation organised the first such event in 2002, when 400-500 people turned out. An estimated 10,000 took part in last year’s commemoration.
It was on April 16, 1944 that the transport of Hungarian Jews to death camps began.
The government will stage official commemorations at the Holocaust Memorial Centre in Budapest, as well as in Szolnok and Tatabánya."
