Hungarian PM Orbán Envisions Rubik Museum
"A museum shaped like a giant Rubik’s cube is to be built in Budapest to present Hungarian intellectual achievements of the past 1,100 years, it was announced on Friday. Balázs Fürjes, government commissioner for major development projects in the capital, said work will start at the Buda side of the Rákóczi Bridge (the former Lágymányos Bridge) in 2014 and the exhibition centre can open its doors in 2017.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, standing alongside inventor Ernő Rubik, said Rubik’s cube can be viewed as a symbol of the Hungarian spirit, and the government trusts that the centre will become a symbol of a 21st-century Hungarian rebirth."
