This is the first such ranking of the 143 Hungarian towns with more than 10,000 inhabitants concerning sustainable environmental and social development.

Zalaegerszeg came second, followed by Debrecen, Kecskemét and Szeged.

The results are based on data from the Statistics Office, planned projects and personal visits.
