With regard to the great success of this event, also this year, visitors will be awaited at the country’s longest gastronomic promenade with a wide variety of culinary masterpieces, tasty fruits, cheese specialities, fine breads, heavenly sweets, special organic products and thirst-quenching beverages as well as with an endless spectacle of special interest.
At this year’s Promenade of Hungarian Flavours, it is our goal to introduce and offer for tasting Hungary’s delicious, healthy products and to provide a taste of the selections of our renowned restaurants and the dishes of regions and ethnic communities.
Similar to years past, visitors may taste the Cake of Hungary prepared on the basis of the original recipe and, for the first time this year, also Hungary’s Sugar-Free Cake at the Promenade of Hungarian Flavours. Samples will be offered for tasting already on the eve of the holiday.
Whilst shopping, please remember that with every bite you have, you support the Foundation Let Every Child Have Their Fill!, the purpose of which is to provide appropriate nourishment for hungry and under-nourished children in the most endangered localities within the boundaries of school catering. The Foundation and the families sponsored by the Foundation, too, will be present amongst the exhibitors of the Promenade of Hungarian Flavours with the products of the „Mini Farm Project”.
The blood donation coach of the Hungarian Red Cross will also be present at the Promenade on 19 and 20 August. We await everyone that would like to help their fellow human beings at the corner of Csalogány utca and Fő utca. For blood donation, you are required to present your identity card, residence card and social security card.
