Memorial Day In Hungary For Ethnic Germans

Parliament voted with 333 affirmative votes and no dissensions to declare January 19 a memorial day to recall the deportation of ethnic Germans in Hungary in the 1940s. The date chosen marks the day on which the first train taking deported Germans left.
