Rákóczi Statue Temporarily Leaving Kossuth Tér In Budapest

The statue of Prince Ferenc Rákóczi II on Kossuth tér is to be taken away temporarily. The statue will return to the square but it is being removed due to the renovation of the square. Reconstruction of the square is to be completed by next March.
