Due to a technical problem with our telephone exchange, we are unable to accept telephone calls at the moment. We are working on resolving this issue, and hope to have our phone system fully operational shortly.
Full information on the British Embassy’s activities, including information on visas for the UK, general Consular enquiries and other aspects of the Embassy’s work in Hungary, please check our website at ukinhungary.fco.gov.uk.
If you are a British national, or are calling on behalf of a British national who requires genuine emergency assistance, please call the Global Response Centre on 00 44 20 700 833 50 or on 00 44 20 700 833 51 outside our normal working hours only. They will forward on requests for assistance to the Consular team in Budapest. For non-emergency issues that can be handled during our office hours of 9am to 5pm, please send an email to consular.budapest@fco.gov.uk.
If you need to contact a member of the British Embassy, please send them an email or call their mobile telephone number if you have these details. If you do not know this, please contact the info@britemb.hu email address, and a member of the Embassy will get back to you shortly.
