To mark the occasion an exhibition opens in the corridor adjacent to the main entrance of the hotel. The display not only presents the key events of the past decade, but it also takes us on a journey going back in time more than 100 years to reveal the history of the building. The Hungarian Museum of Trade and Tourism compiled the exhibition, partly from its own material and partly from documents donated by former and current employees of the hotel and which are now in the public domain.

“We are proud of our history and this exhibition is a suitable memorial to the old times. The display is designed to offer an interesting programme not only for our hotel guests but everyone who is interested,” said Thomas M Fischer, General Manager of the hotel.

The formal opening of the exhibition takes place as part of the series of 10th anniversary celebrations on 25 April 2013. The exhibition can be visited not only on this occasion but will become a permanent part of the hotel’s programme offer.
