The reason for his special interest in the Hungarian breed is that he already has one himself, called Beast, and it has a Facebook account with more than 1.5 million fans.

Ferenc Antal has a large dog breeding farm in Zöldhalompuszta, which is apparently well-known in the United States, and it was via American puli fans that Zuckerberg came to visit the Ludas Matyi kennel.

The dog breeder shares all about Zuckerberg’s recent visit on Facebook, here are some pictures. Antal comments:

“It was a great pleasure to host Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan. We had a friendly discussion about issues affecting the breed. They also wanted to find out more about the komondor, another famous Hungarian breed. Therefore, we gave a little presentation.”
