A car in the convoy carrying Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to the Baile Tusnad open university on Friday afternoon was involved in a fatal accident. The convoy was proceeding under Romanian police escort when a driver heading in the opposite direction made a risky overtaking move and crashed into the vehicle carrying the Hungarian consul in Miercurea Ciuc, his deputy and three staff members of the Prime Minister’s Office.
