Referendum To Ban Smoking In Public Areas In Hungary
- 4 Jul 2013 12:35 PM
Anti-smoking activists may begin a petition drive for a total ban on smoking in public areas, as the National Election Commission unanimously approved a proposed question to that effect on Tuesday.
The question submitted by an individual is: “Do you agree that smoking should be banned in public areas?”
A referendum must be held if at least 200,000 people sign a petition in support of the idea.
