Artistic director Katalin Kokas was the creator of the Kaposfest, which is by today one of the highest-quality classical musical festival in Europe. In the past years, many musicians of the highest quality both from Hungary and abroad have appeared as part of the festival on the stage of the Szivárvány Music Hall, where the audience thanked them with standing ovation. In 2013, the 14 classical musical concerts will be accompanied by exhibitions, gastronomical and film programs to make the cultural experience even more varied.

“This year, every day, based on a classical musical piece, we hold thematic days. This means that we react to pieces of Rossini, Mozart or Bach. We are sure that our audience will find these events as joyful as we do.” says festival director György Bolyki.
