EU Membership No Longer Popular In Hungary
For the first time, a poll has found that a majority of Hungarians believe that EU membership has more drawbacks than advantages. According to a Tárki survey, 39% of Hungarians say EU membership is more bad than good, 32% think the opposite and 22% believe that the EU membership is a mixture of good and bad.

Since Hungary joined the EU in 2004 until the previous such survey in 2011 those who believed that EU accession was clearly positive were in the majority, while 30-40% had mixed feelings, and only 10-20% spoke negatively of EU membership.
