Marinka Zsuzsanna Alexandrovna this year completed her Master degree in photography, at the Moholy Nagy Art University in Budapest. Her photographic work was already showcased in 2012, at Ludwig Museum in Budapest, at the Stackstone Gallery, in Berlin and in Helsinki.
‘In my work I always focus on people, as the phenomenon. From portrait to nude photography, I have always been trying to figure out the essence of my attraction, that drives me to work with people. With the "Mindless Bodies" series my aim was to elaborate the topic of the body image, as I became captivated by its versatility. Its material presence plays a dominant role in our lives as we are inseparable. The examination of the dichotomy of the limited physical body and unlimited self tears up more and more layers.’
