Hungary Prepared For Every Eventuality In Ukraine , Says PM
Hungary is prepared for every eventuality in connection with the crisis in Ukraine, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in his regular Friday radio interview. Orbán was interviewed after a Thursday visit to the Hungarian- Ukrainian border region.

The Hungarian government is following events in Ukraine -- albeit in the background -- especially the situation of Hungarians living in Transcarpathia in the western part of the country, he said, adding that there were worries among the Transcarpathian Hungarians but no unrest.

“We are paying attention to everyone and we are prepared for every eventuality,” he told public Kossuth Radio’s morning programme. The Hungarian Civil Liberties Union (TASZ) has called on Orbán to take on a role as a mediator in the Ukrainian crisis.
