See What Happened @ “Wine & Violin” Violin Makers’ Salon In Budapest
The venue of the series of evenings “Wine & Violin”, the Fono Music Hall (Fonó Budai Zeneház), is a relatively small, intimate place in Buda. This is the ideal combination for a relaxing night out in Budapest. The exhibition part of the events shows some of the finest Hungarian contemporary stringed instruments, accompanied by the most wonderful wines from different parts of Hungary.

This particular evening on 22 February had on show violins made by Márton Faragó-Thököly, sumptuous music from the “Hungarian Renaissance Ensemble”, as well as, the world famous Kristóf Baráti and Gábor Farkas duo.

One of the wonderful things about Budapest, amongst many, is the abundance of cultural events to entice you out on a slightly dark and cold beginning of the year.

Once you are out, all you have to do is sit back, sip a little, and enjoy the lovely night.
