Hungarians In Germany Up By Over 25% In One Year

The number of Hungarians registered in Germany’s AZR database of foreign residents grew by an annual 26.3% last year, representing one of the highest increases of all nationalities, the German statistical office reported.
A total of 7.6 million foreigners lived in Germany at the end of last year, a 5.8% increase from a year earlier. The number of Hungarian citizens grew by 28,216 during the year, reaching 135,614 by the end of 2013.
