Big Win, Big Future, Says Hungary’s PM Orbán
Evoking the famous saying of footballer Ferenc Puskás, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, on the campaign trail in Dombóvár, in the south west, told locals that were his ruling Fidesz party to win big, a big future would follow. But, as Puskás’s saying goes – “small money, small football” – a small win would produce the equivalent.

“It’s true that we are the favourites ... but it is absolutely not neither here nor there how many of you go out to vote on Sunday and how many of your colleagues, your family or your neighbours you take with you,” Orbán said.

He promised full employment – which he defined as a jobless rate of around 3-4% – and security for the elderly, as well as further strengthening the system of family support.
