Watch: Hungarian Animation Pelikan Blue Wins Grand Prize at Leipzig Film Festival
Laszlo Csaki's animated documentary Pelikan Blue has won the 67th DOK Leipzig Festival's Golden Dove prize in the feature-length film category, the National Film Institute (NFI) said on Tuesday.

Pelikan Blue is a nostalgic and witty story of three friends that used to forge international train tickets back in the 1990s. The film has attracted nearly 25,000 spectators in Hungarian cinemas, the institute said in its statement.

"The film embodies imagining beyond physical, social, and political constraints and boundaries. It is about chasing your dreams, exploration, friendship and ingenuity," the jury said in its justification.
