Hungary's PM Orbán: Voters Want More Of The Same From Fidesz
The cabinet has received in Sunday’s election an unequivocal and unquestionable authorisation and confirmation to continue what it had embarked upon, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán told an international press conference Monday afternoon.

Dismissing OSCE criticisms that the election regulations gave Fidesz an advantage, Orbán asserted that voters had expressed their opinion of those objections on Sunday, so “there is nothing more to discuss”.

In what he called a comprehensive victory, he said voters had said yes to the new constitutional system, such as the new Basic Law and approved his government’s economic policy and populist governance.

The question of whether the final vote count gives Fidesz another two-thirds majority in Parliament is not important, he said, as that does not affect the main point, namely that voters have authorised his government to continue.
