Hungary’s Socialists Break With Election Guru Ron Werber

Hungary’s opposition Socialist Party has decided to ditch its election guru Ron Werber, news-only broadcaster ATV’s website said. ATV, citing unnamed Socialist sources, said the Israeli election expert would be involved in neither the European parliamentary election campaign nor the autumn local election.
Csaba Horváth, the party’s deputy chairman, told ATV that Werber had been very confrontational in the general election campaign and “this didn’t help the campaign’s progress”.
