A Month Of Football World Cup At Club Akvárium In Budapest
Life comes to a standstill for football fans between 12 June and 13 July, when the 20th World Cup gets underway. Just as in the case of the previous World Cups, the terrace of Club Akvárium will be turned into a grandstand, allowing visitors to the watch the matches on a giant screen, while sampling some handcrafted Hungarian beer, wine, spritzers or Heineken products.

The matches start with a comfortable time delay, with the earliest games starting at 6 pm and the latest kicking off at midnight. For a whole month everyone is free to come support their favorite team on the terrace of Club Akvárium in the heart of the city in a real stadium atmosphere, coupled with stress-relieving drink specials.

What's more, we already had a taste of the atmosphere to come. On 25 May, the suspense-packed Champions League Final was a good test for the World Cup football broadcasts with over 2000 people rooting for the success of Real Madrid, watching the game on an exclusive, 6x3 meter LED wall moved from the Main Hall to the Terrace.
