Night Of Museums In The Museum Of Hungarian Agriculture Budapest, 21 June

The village moves to town for one special night and brings the bustling world of farms, forests and fields to the building of the Museum of Hungarian Agriculture. Adults and children will have a great time by taking part in colourful programmes both indoors and outdoors. If you would like to test your skills and experience authentic Hungarian rural traditions by tasting fine wines and delicious dishes, then Vajdahunyad Castle is the place to be at the Night of Museums!

Farms & Forests...
Outdoor programmes:
Ox cart ride in the City Park: young and old can experience the thrill of travelling by a farm cart (4 pm to 22 pm)
Children’s zoo: show of domestic animals (4 pm to 21 pm)
Farm Playhouse: wooden carousel, wooden toys, games & activities for children (4 pm to midnight)
Farm Olympics: games and activities (egg hunt, wheelbarrow competition, whip lashing, horn blasting) (4 pm to 22 pm)
Stage shows:
4.30 pm to 5.30 pm: MintaPinty Children’s Music Band
5.45 pm to 6.45 pm: Szeleburdi Children’s Theather Company
7 pm to 8 pm: “Tale woven dance, dance woven tale”- Midsummer Night performance by the Görömbő Companions
8 pm to midnight: Jazz concerts – Rytmix Trio, Spring Island, Kiss Attila Band feat. Farkas Zsófi, Cselovszky Rozina
After midnight: Fire jumping in the museum yard, music by the Görömbő Companions
Kadarka Salon:
Presentation and tasting of Kadarka wines with lectures on winemaking
Forest Sanctuary
Presentation and tasting of foods of forest – honey, jam, fruit syrup
Presentation of mushrooms
Love potions and casting spells
Jewellery made of flowers
Crafts and gifts made of berries, crops and seeds
