Xpat Opinion: Grey Goose – Restaurant / Bar Budapest
Budapest has many hidden gems. Recently I was invited to a birthday celebration at one of the city’s latest up-and-coming bistros. The Grey Goose, whose name originates from Grey Goose vodka, opened its doors about eight months ago.

Situated in Nador utca near the Bank Centre, this vibrant, stylish boutique atmosphere is in the heart of the capital … without feeling like it is in the heart of the capital. The staff, the service, and the food are superb, whether you fancy a lunchtime bite or relaxed night out.

The place has an extensive menu from Asian fusion, French, Hungarian, Italian, and Mexican to Vietnamese, which should cover most people’s tastes. With this array to choose from, you could start to feel a little spoilt, which you will be.

Then, in the evening, you can dive into many of the assorted cocktails available and chill to some cool sounds. This is a place of understated elegance for those who like to be seen but not heard, in a warm and inviting ambience.
