Hungarian Govt Helps Organisations Send Aid To Ebola-Hit Regions
- 1 Oct 2014 9:00 AM
The government has joined forces with civil and religious organisations to help western African countries threatened by the Ebola epidemic, Foreign Ministry state secretary István Mikola said on Tuesday.
Mikola said the ministry had set up a working team to manage aid schemes and help send donations to the affected regions.
Sierra Leone and Benin have asked for help so far, he added.
The severe global emergency situation that has developed in the wake of the Ebola epidemic poses security policy risks, too, Mikola said.
