Police at Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc international airport arrested a Nigerian man who tried to smuggle 1.2kg of cocaine in the form of capsules secreted in his body. He was taken to a hospital to undergo a CT scan. Attila Suller, spokesman for the tax and customs office NAV, said the man had arrived in Budapest from Eindhoven.
The Nigerian national is the fourth person this year to have attempted to smuggle drugs concealed in his body.
