This was the final project of the grant received from the International Visegrad Fund in 2013. Now the Smiling Hospital Foundation is extending its activities abroad, working with several artists and organizations.

In liaison with the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, the purpose is to establish "smiling activities” in these countries, as well as, giving professional development and support to those working, entertaining or volunteering in the healthcare sector.

Experts from four countries came to discuss how arts, like music and storytelling, are related to psychology, and how they can help in the healing process. The audience was treated to fun and games, as well as, some meaningful discussion during the day, which left everyone leaving with a big smile on their face!
