Hungarian Media Group Sells StoryTV Channels
Central Médiacsoport has sold TV channels Story4 and Story5, CEO Zoltán Varga informed a Wednesday conference. He would not disclose the price nor the name of the buyer, but promised to make an official announcement. Former minority owners of Sanoma Media Budapest may be the buyers, napi.hu speculates.

Central Médiacsoport recently sold online job website profession.hu to Ringier Axel Springer Media, in a deal awaiting approval from the Competition Office.

Varga has been listed the 77th richest man in Hungary with an estimated net worth of Ft 7.3 billion.

He is a co-owner of the venture capital fund Central-Fund Kockázati Tõkealap-kezelõ, which has stakes in HSBC Credit and discount airline WizzAir.
