Caro Emerald & Enter Shikari @ Campus Festival Hungary
The most successful Dutch jazz singer of all time and one of the most energic rock bands from the UK will perform live at this year's Campus Festival, starting on 22 July 2015. These acts add a strong international character to the biggest summer open-air event of Eastern Hungary, held in Debrecen, the second city of the country. The first press release of the festival is the following.

The line-up of the festival is almost complete with British dubstep/drum'n'bass star producer Wilkinson, well respected Hungarian headliners like Ákos, Tankcsapda and Quimby, crowned with international festival favourites Enter Shikari and Caro Emerald.

Dutch jazz-pop diva Caro Emerald will headline the festival on Thursday, 23th July. Her hits like Back It Up, A Night Like This or That Man have all been entries on European Lists, while her debut album has already overtaken Thriller by Michael Jackson with its sales in The Netherlands. Her outstanding voice and stage presence resulted in several prizes and invitations to leading music festivals in Europe. Her favourite genre is jazz from the fourties and fifties, which is mixed up with modern pop sounds in Caro's songs.

Enter Shikari (playing on main stage on 25th July) have become a highly popular act in Hungary owing to their many gigs in the country in the previous years - however, it will be their first time to play in Debrecen. Their music built up from metalcore and electronic elements which establishes a really unique style and culminates in live shows with an extremely high energy. Songs by Enter Shikari contain metal, hardcore, dubstep and trance elements as well as one can listen to them on their new 2015 album The Mindsweep. One of their last works was a cover for the title music for The Game Of Thrones.

Together with an infrastructure fitting the highest standards, the green area around the new Nagyerdei Stadium which serves as the venue for the event ensures that Campus is the most comfortable summer festival in Hungary. A good proof for that are the 71.000 attendants who enjoyed the music and all other programmes (stand-up comedy, cinema, theatre, arts) last year.
