NAWA Monthly Event, Radisson Blu Beke Hotel, 3 March
- 27 Feb 2015 8:02 AM
At this month’s meeting Dr Borbála Székely, oncologist from the National Oncological Institute and cancer survivor Borbála Halom are going to take us on a journey of discovery and discussion.
The second part of our meeting will be led by Kathleen Bittner Roth, published author and Reiki Master, who also ran a successful wellness and meditation center for 25 years.
Kathleen will show us the power of our mind and how, through meditation, we can learn to listen and hear what our body is telling us.
An Opportunity to Give: As this is the month for celebrating women we thought it would be right to try to help our sisters who are in difficult circumstances.
A Women’s Shelter (LEA Home) in Érd is presently accommodating 18 young mothers and 23 children (75% are under 3 years of age). They are in need of the following items. So if you want to start your spring cleaning early, please bring along anything you don’t want anymore and are happy to donate:
- baby equipment, baby cosmetics, nappies
– home/kitchen equipment
– mothers: cosmetics, products for personal hygiene and home-cleaning products
– dry food, long lasting/non-perishable food
– office supplies
– things/equipment for creative workshops
