Fidelitas Plans Database Of Opponents
The Fidelitas Facebook page was removed yesterday after the youth wing of Fidesz encouraged supporters to send in the names and photographs of “agents provocateurs” at public events. The initiative was announced by president László Böröcz three days after a small group attempted to disrupt the prime minister’s official March 15 speech on Sunday.

Fidelitas vice-president Zsófia Koncz told a Wednesday press briefing that the activists had presented themselves as civilians “but in reality they were extremist, left-wing party activists” who with “their screaming and aggression” wanted to “destroy the peaceful holiday of tens of thousands of families”.

She said that they recognised among the protesters a Socialist activist and another from the Democratic Coalition.

Böröcz encouraged anyone who recognises agents provocateurs in future to e-mail their names and pictures to Fidelitas for publication on Facebook.

Fidelitas launched a Facebook page for this goal but it had been taken down by the afternoon.
