Hungary’s M4 Probe To Wind Up At End Of April

Csepreghy said earlier that the government does not agree with the EC’s suspicion and “final judgment will not take place” unless the suspicion is substantiated.
The government wants a full-scale investigation of the suspicion, as public monies are involved, he added. Csepreghy said that the government was not shelving its plans to make all of Hungary’s biggest cities and county seats accessible via primary roads.
The stretch of the M4 bypassing Szolnok, a county seat, is to be part of a motorway that runs from the capital across eastern Hungary to Oradea (Nagyvárad), in Romania.
