Turkish Airlines Launches Budapest - San Fransisco Flight
By Christian Keszthelyi: Turkish Airlines launched its Budapest-Istanbul-San Francisco flight yesterday, making it the airlinesʼ eleventh destination on the American continent, the carrier said in a press release today.

Altogether five flights a week are now available between Istanbul and San Francisco on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, departing at 1:05 pm from Istanbul. The return flight takes off from San Francisco on the same days of the week at 6:10 pm.

In honor of the new route, the carrier of the first flight was decorated with a elaborate and colorful painting (pictured).
