Russians Buy Five-Star Hévíz Hotel In Hungary
Property firm AEG, owned by Russian investors, has purchased the five-star Lotus Therme Hotel & Spa in Hévíz, Zala county from CIB Bank, hotel CEO Erzsébet Pusztai confirmed. The price has not been disclosed. Accent Hotel will continue the management of the 232-room facility, where room occupancy was 61.1% last year.

German-speaking guests made up 47% of the total number of visitors, while 28% were Russian speakers, said Pusztai.

One of the owners of AEG is Alexander Baranov, who is also the owner of travel agency 1000 Út, which mostly brings Russian tourists to Hungary, Világgazdaság points out.
