The Hungarian judo achieved various successes in the past few years, having our competitors won numerous medals in the World and European Championships, throughout almost all of the age categories.

Our performance at the London Olympic Games was also outstanding, having Ms. Éva Csernoviczki won the first Hungarian Olympic medal to the feminine judo in Hungary and Mr. Miklós Ungvári placing second in his own category.

We are more than happy to be given the opportunity to organize the World Championships in 2017!
