EFOTT Festival, Lake Velence, Hungary, 15 - 18 July

If we hear the word EFOTT we almost automatically think of the now 40 year old event’s slogen: EFOTT, the biggest student party of the country. Neverthless, EFOTT is not only a party, as the organizers place emphasis on students’ cultural and sport life as well. For this reason, the range of daytime programmes is growing year by year, not only in number but in quality too. One of the main purposes of EFOTT, apart from great entertainment is to make youngsters get to know Hungary. That is why the event has been migrating since its beginning, 1976.
In 2015, after 3 years, it returns to Lake Velence, located near to Budapest. The festival goers can be happy: there will be a good deal of camping pitches, trees and they don’t even have to walk to find the festival, as the approx. 200 acre area has its own bus and train station (Velence). It is also easily accessible by car from the road 71. The place is given and programmes are again provided by the usual staff of EFOTT and the host institute, Óbudai University.
In addition, you can spend a whole week at Lake Velence not paying for the accomodation, as the camping is free of charge for those who have a weekly or weekend pass. Moreover, the festival insists on keeping student friendly prices, including tickets bought in advance or on site, just like the previous years. Dudes will be there too! You can buy tickets on TicketPortal or TEX offices and at the point, as well.
