Hungarian Parliament Debates Olympic Bid

In reply, Socialist Zoltán Lukács said his party trusted the cabinet regarding the 2017 World Swimming Championships, but the costs have grown in two weeks, the construction works have been awarded without a tender process, and land is being taken away from the 13th District, therefore there is no confidence in the government’s handling of the Olympics.
Jobbik’s György Szilágyi said it is important that Hungary present its past and future achievements to the world as a major sports power.
