Inquest Into Conditions At Budapest Hospital

The health state secretariat has instructed the National Medical Office and the National Documentation Office to conduct an extraordinary and full-scale inquiry into the psychiatric ward of the Merényi Gusztáv hospital. A patient jumped out of the second-floor window of a closed ward and suffered critical injuries on the weekend.
That came after one patient murdered another at the Budapest facility last week.
News website Index reports that another patient jumped out of a closed ward in the summer and died.
