Lufthansa Cancels Most Budapest Flights Because Of Strike
German airline company Lufthansa cancelled all of its Wednesday flights between Budapest and Frankfurt as well as several of its Munich flights because of a strike by cabin crew. The departure and arrival information system of Liszt Ferenc International Airport showed all of Lufthansa’s Budapest flights had been cancelled on Wednesday, with the exception of its morning and evening Munich flights.

About 950 passengers were affected by the cancellation of the arrival and departure of the seven flights, said Tamás Lichtenberger, Lufthansa’s chief at Liszt Ferenc airport.

The strike is expected to last through Friday.
