Hungary Voices Shock At Ankara Blast
Hungary’s foreign ministry was “deeply shocked” to receive reports about Wednesday’s explosion in Ankara, the ministry said in a statement. President Janos Ader on Thursday voiced his sympathy with victims of the recent explosion in Ankara in a telegram to Recep Tayyip Erdogan, his Turkish counterpart.

“Terror is not an answer; such a deed cannot be justified,” the statement said, and expressed Hungary’s sympathy with families of the victims. A car bomb exploded in the Turkish capital on Wednesday afternoon, killing at least 28 people and wounding 61.

The Turkish military confirmed that a terrorist attack had taken place. No Hungarian victims have been reported. President expresses sympathy over Ankara attack “I learnt with deep regret that terrorism has again hit Turkey, our friend. Please convey my sincere sympathy to families of the victims and to those that were injured in the brutal attack,” Ader said in his message.

Ader added that the “heinous crime” has further increased Hungary’s commitment to “fighting by all means the “inhumane aggression defying our values”. A car bomb exploded in the Turkish capital on Wednesday, killing at least 28 people and wounding 61.
