Bugging Devices Found In MTVA
The Socialist chairman of Parliament’s national security committee has asked the interior minister to provide information after bugging devices were discovered in the offices of three senior executives of state media manager MTVA.

Workers found a listening device in the office of CEO Miklós Vaszily in March.

Authorities were called in and uncovered a similar device, as well as a hidden camera in the adjoining office of Vaszily’s general secretary Csaba Enyedi.

They also found a bugging device in the office of building manager Imre Vas.

Security specialists told 444 that the devices had been installed with the consent of those affected or else somebody may have ordered the surveillance who had regular access to the offices.

The website says the surveillance was apparently carried out for political reasons.
