When Hungarians hear the word EFOTT they think of the now 40 year old event’s slogen: "the biggest student party of the country". Neverthless, EFOTT is not only student a party according to the organizers, who place emphasis on students’ cultural and sporting life as well. For this reason, the range of daytime programmes has grown year by year, not only in number but in quality too the organisers told XpatLoop "One of the main purposes of EFOTT, apart from great entertainment, is to help youngsters get to know Hungary. That is why the event has been gaining international recognition since its beginnings in 1976."
