Orbán On Olympics: ‘There Is A Problem With Hungarian Menʼ
- 23 Aug 2016 9:00 AM
The prime minister only expected six golden medals. “Well, we achieved eight medals, seven won by women, so there must be some kind of problem with us Hungarian men”, said Orbán, according to index.hu. “I don’t know what the matter is, but we need to hold some self-investigation.”
The prime minister also said he had originally had the feeling, prior to the games, that all the medals would be won by women, index.hu reported.
Orbán also said he especially cheered on the Hungarian women’s pentathlon team to win gold. He said he believes pentathlon is the “father of all sports”.
