Sziget Festival Briefly Suspends Entry Over Abandoned Bag On First Festival Day

Guests were temporarily prevented from entering the Sziget Festival yesterday due to a security alert when an unattended rucksack was discovered near the entrance. While examining the package, police stopped visitors from entering and herded them onto neighbouring streets.
Suburban HÉV trains passed through the nearby Filatorigát station without stopping.
An examination by bomb disposal experts found that the bag contained only sausages and beer.
