2016 is the fourth year, when we arrange the Sekler Cake Festival. Its central theme, as the name already shows is the sekler cake, which is both traditional and always renewing modern delicacies.

Since the sekler cake already has a 200 years old history and because of this. It has been entered to the Hungarian National Depository and is on the threshold of the Hungaricum declaration. Moreover, this product is able to conquer the world.

The primary aim of the festival is still the promotion of the original sekler cake. The introduction of the traditional way of baking on live charcoal, thereby, cultivating the Hungarian traditions.

The 4th Sekler Cake Festival will keep the well-established and successful programs, but will take even greater emphasis on the children, the families. There will be many additional programs organized to them, focusing on traditional eating habits and a healthy lifestyle.

In the expanded Children's Park we will summon the idyllic world of the childhood, when we cooked and baked with the grandmother in the kitchen at home. There will be interactive games, where not only the importance of the movement will be emphasized, but also the quality time with the family. Furthermore, we will come up with such entertainments, where we will campaign for our goals even with experts and celebrities.

In order to achieve this goal: we are significantly expanding the area of the event, increasing the number of sekler cake oven stands, profession demonstrating craftsmen will be invited as well, more concerts to the music fans as well as larger and more diverse number of programs available for children, to the youngest visitors.

Of course, there will be do it yourself! arts and crafts. Furthermore, the Big Joint Baking, that we would like to register in the Book of Guinness Records. We would like to set the simultaneously baked sekler cake time record!
