Dead Pigeons In Rural Operating Room
Operations have been postponed in the Orosháza hospital after the ceiling of an operating room collapsed, revealing a large number of maggots behind it, according to the town’s top Socialist official János Fetser. When the ceiling was checked in a different place, about 100 dead pigeons fell into the room.

Recently, the number of infection cases have increased sharply in the hospital.

In June, the roof of the new Ft 1.7 billion operating room proved unable to withstand rainfall and it has not yet been repaired. That is why operations were transferred to the old operating rooms, where the pigeons were found.

A renovation of the new operating wing will be completed soon and operations will be moved there, said hospital administrator Gergõ Duray.
