Around 1200 people made the night something special. Welcome remarks by Ambassador Colleen Bell opened the evening. A dedicated pressroom with Wi-Fi and space for interviews was laid on. Representatives from Democrats Abroad and Republicans Abroad were all present.
Guests could find authentic campaign material and test their knowledge on US history. Election updates beamed in from major US news networks (CNN, Fox, MSNBC and BBC).
And if that wasn’t enough, a mock election got everyone into the swing of things. Results were on hand and announced at midnight. The US presidential election 2016 guide it certainly was.
The event was hosted by AmCham and the U.S. Embassy.
