Govt Plans To Introduce Good Friday Public Holiday
The performance of the economy is such that the government is considering introducing a public holiday on Good Friday, the minister of human resources said at a meeting of the National Economic and Social Council. Zoltán Balog noted at the event on Thursday that the same initiative had been made four years ago but now the conditions were in place to allow such a move.

Parliament will debate the proposal made by a lawmaker according to which Good Friday, this year falling on April 14, will be a public holiday.
